It's been a rainy day. Lovely weather to curl up in bed and just.. snuggle. I guess?
While the lovebirds of the world do that, my poor lonely self went exploring the pages of the www.

Hello again familiar place.

I was once so skeptic about the (I-once-thought) highly over-rated Twilight saga.
But I guess the whole series has started growing on me ever since the near end of New Moon.
I'm FINALLY on the last book now. But I don't know how long I'll take to finish given my somewhat seemingly slack but actually busy schedule these days.

Well onto something else, we caught Watchemen yesterday. I say, the people who lived back then before us got it all right.
They knew what was coming and they sure knew how the world worked. Although it was adapted from a comic, I think it couldn't be more accurate!
As the saying goes, "the enemy of your enemy is your friend."
As such, the unknowing friendship was forged between Jacob and Edward.

Oops.
There I go now, letting myself get ahead with the whole Edward/Bella whirlwind.

Lastly,
My WoW character Danthae HAS FINALLY REACHED NORTHREND!

I think I just lost any reader I thought I had with that sentence.
Hahahahahahahaha.

Alright now,
This is where I stop.

I took a walk down memory lane

I realised I haven't blogged much since.. God-knows-when. Heheh.
So much has happened, so much to re-visit.

I can't quite pin point this feeling.
But, I don't like it.

Because the (self-declared) princess has asked me to blog
Because my blog has been so stale
Because we're at home (separately)
Because she's sick
Because she just started work
Because we'll be going Bangkok in November
Because we've been wanting to plan a trip together
Because we never seem to spend enough time together (so I think)
Because Bedok Reservoir and Bukit Panjang is not exactly near
Because I got my new car and yet I'm home early this whole weekend
Because I care about her well being
Because she needs to recuperate

So many reasons/excuses I could name out,
not one seems to be able to justify the distance (physically) between us now.

In all honesty, this blog was created when I was at a transitional stage (read: when I was single).
Hence, now that I'm all tied up with work, my mum's work, and Drea (well, not so much her. She basically sleeps all day so it's okay.), I don't have any time left to blog.

Whatever I time I have left seems to disappear as fast as I spend money.
They usually disappear simultaneously, now that I think of it.
Haha.

Yet with so little spare time left, I don't know why I still always feel so bored.
Okay now all I'm left with is a non conclusive entry which was more a less a waste of time.

Haha.Okay so I bought a new camera, semi-automatic, totally on impulse while we were at the plaza the other day. But it was so cheap! $359 for a semi automatic! Lucky for me, Silly wasn't exactly against the idea.
Well I also kinda want to buy a new pair of spectacles, but god that's gonna cost me almost 700 bucks. Hahah!

Okay so now that I've spent about 10minutes doing up this blog entry, it's time to decide, watch online videos? Or WoW?

Life is so full of tough decisions. Ha! (Don't kill me!)

Okay, so I've been missing a little bit. Haha.
Well, this month's been very busy. Very.

Hopefully after this month, I'll have more time for alot more things.
Drea's birthday is coming. (Whoopee for her.) We have yet to decide what to do for her birthday.
But the tentative plan (in our all assuming manner) is that we be clubbing, yo.

The next series of pictures will testify as proof of how busy I am.
By that I mean, busy to the extent that I was back at work on a Saturday afternoon.
Well, I think it's safe to say (for now) that I'm very much happy with my new 24 inch iMac.

And on Friday, we met Jillene at the Esplanade to test her new professional camera flash, (note: Holga Vs. her D-SLR) which was.. quite eventful. Turns out the ceilings at the Esplanade were not in our favour for her to test her new flash so we stayed and watch Olivia (can't remember her surname) perform.

Oh before I forget, you guys should check out this Italian (I think) restaurant at the Esplanade called Al Dente. Quaint little restaurant facing the hawker at the Esplanade. Well, we had a pretty damn good (and costly) meal there. 'Cause Drea was craving for pasta. So... we settled there. She had the Bolognaise, as usual, and I tried the Spaghetti Arragosta in creamy garlic sauce. Damn, the pasta was good. That's our take on it of course. And to top it off, we finished the meal with a Macademia Scented Crème brulee. Well as long as she enjoyed it. Unfortunately, we were so hungry we didn't take any pictures before we started eating. Haha!

By the way, the short hiatus on this blog was mainly due to a few reasons.
Here goes:


1. Silly has been staying over alot and we've been busy. Especially since her sister is officially flying alot now. We've been shuffling between Bukit Panjang - Town - Bedok Reservoir - (occasionally the airport) - Town - Bukit Panjang. Doesn't help that the petrol consumption on this car is like.. whacked. And that the petrol pricing just can't stay within the 'affordable' region. My so far closeted case of road rage has begun errupting in little outbursts (Drea can vouch for that). Haha! Sometimes I just start cursing. Uh huh! (I sense that I'm drifting off my main focus here.)


2. Ms Leong (aka up and coming famous person)

3. My long awaited Holga has finally arrived! We collected it yesterday. Gonna go take pictures tonight! Fort Canning and the assplanade.

I have so many things I wanna do for my room, but I never get round to doing it.
So today I finally drew up a sketch of a new layout for my room.
Bear with me, how much can I do with such a small space. Oh well.

I don't know how I could have lived through the past 23 years of my life without you.
Lately, whenever you're around, I find myself smiling until my cheek muscles hurt.
This is for all the times I was nonchalant and for all the little things I may have brushed aside.
I think I might need to be near you.
